Orbit legal

Privacy Policy

Orbit is designed to make a useful personal assistant understandable and controllable. This policy explains the information used to provide Orbit and the choices available to you.

What Orbit stores

Orbit stores your verified messaging identity, profile and consent history, the messages needed to provide the service, durable memories you explicitly give it, reminders and attention settings, privacy-minimized activity, and information imported from providers you connect.

Connected Google data

Gmail indexing is limited to a rolling 30-day window. Google Docs are searched only when you ask; Orbit does not crawl your entire Drive by default. Calendar data is kept within a bounded operational window. Provider credentials are encrypted and are never shown in the website.

How data is used

Your data is used to answer you, carry out approved work, maintain reminders and watches, personalize your assistant, secure the service, and support the account controls you request. Retrieved email, document, and web content is treated as untrusted source material—not as instructions to Orbit.

Your controls

You can inspect and correct memories, change notifications, disconnect providers, delete imported data, request an export, selectively remove data, or permanently delete your account.

Security and retention

Orbit limits internal access, encrypts sensitive stored data, and uses short-lived, single-use setup and login links. Retention varies by data type and is shown in the portal where practical.
